S13 climate control issue

Hey everyone
the number slider on my climate control only works up to about 3.5 (between 3 and 4) and once it hits 4 the air stops entirely. Any idea what could be wrong? I tried to troubleshoot it online but everything on google talks about the digital climate control conversion. The connector for the number slider was stuck so i couldnt pull it out and check it

I have the same problem. I'm just replacing it. You could take it apart and try to clean the contacts for the slider or try to just hose it off with electrical cleaner.

Yeah i bet i have to just replace it, if you replace yours and everything works let me know! Im hoping its just the unit itself and not something in the harness

The one I got one from Ebay for $25 works. Seems like once you get it out you could take it apart and clean it out, but I'm not sure if that'll fix it.
