well today I went to school to sign some papers, and during the trip, me and my buddy were like , wow this think is KA fast, which is not a good thing, but then im like well theres nothing I can do about it, well see what happens, then after I come back to my car, there is coolant all over like maybe half a quart came out, so we babied her home on the highway, and I realized that I missed a clamp connection, and the hose was on by a millimeter, but Im thinking this may be a side effect of the real problem, it seems everytyhing in the engine bay was hotter, so like because of the real problem, the coollants leaking a lot more then it ever has, (obviously it wont leak when I fasten the hose on securely, it was a hose going to the IACV,) but anyway, the coldpipe has never really gotten too hot, but today it was HOT, and im boosting at like 12 lbs, it should be a far cry from KA power, the only time it leaked is after shut off, and only leaks like I said a half quart, so its not like the coolant all came out, plus engine temp was right at 180, everything checked out, its so weird, has anyone had a problem like this whre eveything is really hot, but engine is good temp, and performance just sucks.

If you're still on the stock intercooler you woul be heatsoaking the crap out of it at 12psi. That would kill power. Does the coolant look like its circulating through the radiator with the cap removed and the engine running at operating temp? On my last nissan I would overheat but the stock gauge never budged past the midpoint. I only found out after hooking up Conzult and reading the ecu's coolant temp sensor.
cant say i have had this problem but 12lbs is maxin out the stock smic, so u might wana be careful with that, and get that hose clamped back on, also are u runnin the stock fan or do u have electric fan/s, that could make a difference too. good luck

hell no its not stock Ic, sorry I forgot to include this, my bad, but also I have the stock temp and another one, I have this adapter, and it acts as a coupler too, so I fabbed a upper hose, and used this piece to connect 2 pieces of upper hose, therfore my guage is on the upper, although when I get my new rad and hoses, I will obviously put it on the lower pipe, but anyway im going to fix the leak tomarrow, and take it out for a bit, i mean yah it was about 5-10 degrees warmer today than previous days, but that shouldnt take 75 HP from me, or at least what feels like that much.

oh another thing, I was reading how somones power sucked after some vacuum line messing with, well the other day, I found out why I was getting compressor surge, my vaccuum source sucked, So I tied into the fpr, boost guage line, and capped off the bottom port on TB that I was previously using, this fixed up the prob, then I adjusted the screw on the BOV, still need a lil tuning of that, but also now, my boost isnt so consistang, like in first it will only get to 7lbs, and then it will go 12 or so but still not steady, in the other gears, is this just the gauge not properly reading, should I tie the gauge into a different source, or is it something else, donno, just seems a lil odd, I know I cant ask for too much with a mbc, but it was previously working solid.
thats funny i have a similar thing goin on wit the gauge, i duno my car is out tho, no power loss once so ever, i only gotten on it once maybe twice but it was quick both times, and at idle it reads 0, but should be reading in vacuum , and jus cruisin it reads like 7lbs, but im not boosting at all otherwise turbo would be gone by now so i dunno, i think you have a vacuum leak somwhere, cuz if theres even the slightest hole in a line, suckin in too much air will def cause it to slow up but not feel like a ka thats goin to far, i dunno, i hope its nothin major you had enough shit with your sr gettin it started, let me know what happens.
