instead of getting a camber kit and having my front tires butterfly will wheel spacers i think thats what there called. its where your front tires stick out just a tad. will this do the same trick.

yeah.. u can go get the wheel spacer from H&R.. the size from 5mm-25mm.. they will also do that trick as well and make ur wheel stick out more ... cause i got some on my 95 S14 ..

Wheel spacers will not do anything to correct camber on a lowered car. You need the camber kits to adjust the strut angle on a lowered vehicle.
Camber is the verticel angle of the wheels when looking at them from the front of the vehicle.

i've heard the wheel spacers r bad, and you should avoid them at all cost

Wheel spacers have their place. They do create a large moment (torque) on the wheel bearings and can wear those out quicker.
I am wrapping up a 300ZX brake upgrade and am using wheel spacers (1/4") to push my stock teardrop wheels out to clear the calipers.
