Hi there guys, I’m having some issues with a 240 I just bought kind of some intresting ones that I’ve had trouble searching for. (1993 s13 KA24DE)

So when the ignition is off, the car basically acts like the battery is dead. No interior lights work, dash ect. Hazards don’t turn on or anything.

But!
It’s just playing dead.

I can turn on the lights and the headlights and taillights will come on but the dash lights still won’t

Also I can turn the car on and all of the problems disappear. I’ve got interior everything. Lights, dash, the whole shabang. I turn the car back off and I’ll have interior electrical working for all of a second or so before it all dies off.

Like I said I can start the car no problem just no power to the interior while it’s off. Any suggestions? Thanks!

step one: google 240sx wiring diagrams
step two: look at where those things (interior lights, dash, etc) get power from
step three: ????
step four: PROFIT

U check the ignition switch?

Check fuse box power supply

It ended up being the 75amp Alternator fuse that was causing the issue. Replacing it fixed it!
