My friend has a '98 240sx auto and he is doing a manual tranny swap. We found a manual driveshaft from the junk yard, one is from a '95 and one is from a '96 but both are for 240sx's with ABS. My friend's car does not have ABS, will these manual driveshafts still fit?

After march of 97 the carrier bracket is different. You can use the half of it that connects to the spline I believe. I was in the same predicament with my swap but i luckily i found a 97 abs driveshaft. good luck though.

S14 Drive shaft specs as per FSM:
A/T 1st section = 421.0mm (16.57")
M/T 1st section = 441.0mm (17.37")
ABS Rear Section = 636.0mm (25.04")
non-ABS Rear Section = 650.0mm (25.59")
So the answer would be no. You would need to find a non ABS rear driveshaft.

Right but you can use yours that you have to connect to the spline.

I have an S14 driveshaft for sale. I'm not sure if its AT or MT but based on the specs posted above, I'll measure and find out for you.
If you're interested, send me an e-mail.
I'm near San Francisco so I'm somwhat close by.
