My friend has a 95 int. with apex exhaust, intake, and few other minor mods, so we decided to go to the street races. We ended up racing our cars against each other....97 240sx vs. 95 integra. Smoked him....twice! On the second launch, I even bogged the hell out of it and still beat him by a car length. Any other cool stories.

Umm, I wouldn't say that about all honda's. I'm pretty sure it wasn't a GSR, and don't say you can beat a 97+ Prelude either.
I currently own a prelude and I can pull a 14.6 in the quarter mile with only intake/exhaust and cam gears.

But yeah, a regular integra wouldn't be a problem at all.

yea, I'm assuming he had an LS. 140HP vs 155HP....with those mods you mentioned I'm sure he's still under 150HP
nice kill nonetheless....

I'm not serious about what I said about Hondas in reference to being Lawnmowers. I was just kidding around. His int. is an LS, but has some mods on it. I didn't mean to come off disrespectful of the Honda cars. The int. I beat is my friends, which most of it I have done the work on. The whole post was just a joke in order to get under his skin (my friend). Lighten up boys....tighter than virgins on prom night, eh?

Yea one night an LS kept up with me top speed, but a prelude beat us both
Its ok I made up for it a couple nights later. I need to start working again. Im lazy. I have school tomorrow and im tired. hmm. Maybe I should sleep.

damn, here I was thinking someone set one of those little front wheel drive shitboxes on fire and ran over the smoking corpse of its former owner...

Honda motors are great actually; very efficient and reliable. Its the ass dragger, i.e., front wheel drive config that needs to be changed.

Not to mention, most of the ricers and kid racers you see around have so many mickey mouse mods that the engine sounds like a Bee on steriods....

My friend's int. is quite nice actually. He has apexi n1 exhaust, intake, some susp. work, and cams done. Plus a nice stereo system and it's really well kept. He is modding it with autocross in mind, not the quarter-mile. Sorry to disappoint on the whole fire thing bud.

Everyone always seems to back away from there comments about freakin honda's I'm sorry, but untill I see a honda with torque I won't be impressed. It amazes me all the time they can raise the displacemt on thier cars and still make absolutely pitiful torque numbers... just look at the s2000, 153 foot pounds... that's pathetic. The new Sir, 134, the RSX, same deal. What gives, I want some torque, horsepower is fun, but torque gets the job done...

And yes, I am aware these low torque monsters will kick my 2.4 liter 240's ass... but gimme the same gearing as a type r and we'll see who's laughing.
