Hey guys I have a rb25det recently did some power upgrades
Garret GT3076R
550 CC injectors
Splitfire coils
Freddy intake manifold
Top mount manifold
Bigger intercooler
Power FC
Tial wastegate 1.0 bar spring
Greddy profec boost controller
My car started and ran before upgrades. Should it still be able to start? Also I’ve been told to even start it I will need a basemap. I know I will need a tune for sure I just don’t want to take it to the tuner and not be 100%ready. Also any tuner shops in Southern California? I tried using the search but only got old hits from like 2012 and all the shops where closed after searching them up. Thanks guys!

you need to make an appt with Koji Arai at AutoTalent

or

Juan Vargas (Bardabe)

either one are excellent tuners with sterling reputation

L-jetro can be tuned easily in minutes, after a pressure test, this is the power FC I recommend for your setup, make sure to use a recirculated bypass as close to the turbo as possible (on the outlet pipe)

D-jetro can take hours days weeks (depends on many factors) and requires a data-logit to fully tune properly, I would go D-jetro only if tuning it yourself.
The benefit for the above application is a MAP sensor which allows non-recirculated bypass and offers slightly less restriction and more freedom inlet pipe config.
very few individuals (I never met one I think they are all in new zealand and Australia) seem to be able to properly utilize what seems to be the simplest aftermarket ecu in existence for some reason

I second Koju, he's the man. He tuned my KA-T and it runs great.
