Hey guys, what I want to do is to have any S14/S13 cluster tested on a test bench.

In particular the tach and speedo.
Now i want to have this tested, WITHOUT having to have all this connected in my car, or it wouldn't be called a test bench...

So how can I simulate these signals with minimal effort? I have no knowledge of arduino etc to build anything of the sort...

I do have a borrowed bitscope micro which can simulate a square 50% dc signal for the speedo, but it's not having it. The cluster is powered on (12V on ignition pin, ground on ground pin, water and fuel level work!), but it seems it's not having it...
Possibly, because the bitscope can only generate a voltage of 3.3V.
As for the tach, i was hoping a similar signal would work, tried all types, sine, square, triangle, different duty cycles, none seem to work. Again, possibly due to the bitscope only being able to generate 3.3V.

I've also tried a fan controller, which is 12V and sends out square PWM signals. Got it hooked up at the back... but it's not having it either! No movements whatsoever. Welp!

Hooked up a VSS sensor straight to the cluster, and its still not showing speed.
Now I remember something about the ABS ECU, when it's not hooked up, speed won't go up... Now on the look out for which signal i'm missing/needing
