My KA24DE engines camshaft broke. I am going to just replace the entire motor. My question is: Is it easier or can I just remove the engine and leave the transmission in place? Or are the bolts hard to torque when putting it back together? I don't think I can fit my torque wrench on the upper bolts. Would it be easier to remove the entire engine tranny together?
Thanks,
Jonathan.
If you can give me any pointers on making this as easy as possible.

Hey, well when I removed my engine, I took the tranny and the engine out together and it was surprisingly relatively easy.
The key is to make sure you have lots of room to get it out by removing everything in front if the engine that you can.

The easy thing to do would be to just replace the cams if thats the only thing wrong
