The problem is we hardly make any money on those coilovers, because it costs us over $200 to ship each coilover from Japan by air :( When we first priced them at $1000 we had underestimated the shipping costs...
We do not want to price it higher than what it is at now because the price would not be that competitive. Hopefully next year we can work out some better shipping methods for these coilovers so we can actually be profitable on them, and be able to occassionally offer some discounts...
We are getting low on the S13 pro RUCAs, so hurry up :)

Here's a question. KTS, who makes those coilovers, has a vast line of parts, everything from bushings to manifolds to seats and harnesses. All are well priced, and, if the coilovers are an indication, a great value. My question is, is there any intention of ever importing any of KTS's other products?
I got a question. I want to buy those s14 lca's and put em on my s13. what would i need to make it work? i want the added camber from the different length arms

who made and designed these suspension parts? Alex from battleVersion claim that, " those are made in taiwan parts?"

of course a competitor would bash and spl...
but if they are really made from taiwan so what.
it really doesn't matter where something is made , its the quality and how it was made that matters most, not where it was made. don't

What was that claim based on? You can find many suspension pieces on Ebay and offered by some vendors that are made in Taiwan and China, they all look identical except for finish. The parts we offer look nothing like those.
Most of the "SPL" badged suspension arms are designed and made in Japan, there are several tuners/shops that we source from. We do not stick to 1 single tuner for everything because not one tuner offers the best version of every piece, for example that is why we offer the Cusco RUCA for the S14, but that is the only Cusco part we offer. We do our own testing and evaluation of the products before we include them in our lineup, we are not interested in selling 10 different versions of RUCAs, just the best version. The tuners we source from is not really a huge secret... Some other suspension items are designed and made by us here in the USA, eg. subframe bushings, etc.
This has always been stated on the top section of our suspension page, everything we currently offer is either made in Japan or the USA. I have never spoken to
[email protected], I have never said anything negative about BattleVersion online or offline, I would suggest he gives me a call before making such claims.

If you are referring to the S14 front LCA, you would need S14 front spindles. Your S13 coilover mounting bracket would have to be drilled out a little to accomodate the larger bolt holes on the S14 spindle, but otherwise nothing else needed if I remember correctly.

We can and do import some of KTS's products, but we do not offer everything from them because often we feel there is a better product available elsewhere. We are pretty selective about the parts we sell, because we have to warranty and support it... I think that is a good policy since so far we seem to have very good customer satisfaction (AFAIK) :)

Kuah and SPLParts (and Adam there) are probably the most standup guys on the internet.
I bought quite a bit from them and had a slight problem with one of the first orders (a cheap one) and Kuah went the distance to make it TOTALLY BEYOND right. With most retailers at this point they would stop answering emails and the phone (gotta love caller id)...not SPLParts though, they even followed up to make sure everything was ok.
These guys also have the best prices on many things (not counting fly-by-night outfits) and I intend to send my money their way if they have the part I need.
Plus these guys use their own parts....so many shops sell stuff for a certain car yet drive a totally different one and NEVER have owned the particular car in question....bullshit in my book, simply cashing in IMHO.
Take this merchandise off their hands, I would love the Fender Braces but I just don't want to deal with a repainting project now. These braces are the #1 front end stiffener for a 240SX/Silvia...totally a well planned out project...and freaking cheaper than some front strut braces...you can't beat that.
Thanks again Kuah and Adam, this is Chris from West Palm Beach.

I can vouche for SPLParts as well. I ordered all my arms and endlinks from them about 8 months ago and the customer service was EXCELLENT. Quality of the parts (welds, structure, and finish) is beyond anything else I have ever come in contact with. Buy their stuff!

SPL parts are great. Any deals on tension control rods? Would really like to buy these at a discoutned price... I heard they make a big diff in steering response and handling. Plus I just lowered my car a lot, i think my t/c rods are about to go...
