Hello. If anybody has some sr20vet conversion components and they aren't going to use them I will buy them from you. Figured I would ask here before I go buy all new shit at retail price. I already have a head and exhaust mani. Thanks.

it depends on which head you have. there's only a few of us on here that went VVL. most guys have the p11 head and a few of us have only p12. i only have p12 aftermarket head parts

Just buy all taarks bnib. Comes out cheaper than buying new and you're not getting someone's used underwear.
Use xcessive manifold and stock TB of not going to a gazillion HP.

I have a brand new PRL billet intake manifold for sale. it bolts up to p11 runners, and it flanged for q45 throttle body.
only downside, is it will not fit with top feed injectors. they kinda neglected to mention that.
Paid $730 for it. willing to cut my losses on it.

Buy all taarks. Conversion rate from aud to usd is extremely favorable, and I find the quality of their parts to be superior to similar parts offered by mazworx. Shipping is extremely quick for being overseas.
Im having my intake manifold being built by @rearwheelsti on IG. Really experienced fabricator making me a gorgeous manifold with all the bells and whistles for a third of the price of a similar plazmaman/hypertune manifold. He'll build a simple but very good manifold off of the stock lower runners for less than $600. @jp_s14 on IG has been running a manifold from him of that style at 500whp for a couple years with no issues. Definitely talk to him and see what he can do for you.

I'm interested, but besides aesthetics, what benefits would it have over a xcessive?

Fabricated sheet aluminum has better heat dissipation properties than cast, thats the big one. More choice in things like throttle body flange, iac flange, vacuum ports. Shouldn't be any fitment issues like with the xcessive. Aesthetics played a big role Ill admit, I didnt want the xcessive plenum anywhere near my bay.
I want to say I chose to have him fab me a manifold using a mazworx cnc p12 flange (o ring style), oval port matched runners, and velocity stacks in the plenum. Hes using a tb flange thats specific to my plazmaman throttle body, as well as a fuel rail thats specific to my fuel injectors and my rail mounted regulator.
For all of that he charged me considerably less than any other manifold currently on the market, excluding the xcessive. The bang-for-buck value is immense.
Overall it was best for my setup because of the input I was able to give on every aspect of the construction, the price was the icing on the cake. Its nice to support a small businessman who does some really outstanding work for very budget friendly pricing.

Shoot him a dm on instagram and let him know Jake sent you, he’d be stoked to see more interest in his manifolds

I know I've had this discussion on here before and I couldn't find the same post, but the P11 and P12 both came with VVL and both came with sr20ve. This is only Wikipedia, but also Wikipedia isn't always shit info. I know it's true because I have personally pulled both of my P11 heads.

Thanks for the info. My power goal is 550 bhp so that sounds about right. I'll check it out.

P11 and P12 have different intake ports and a slightly different casting on the entire head.
Not exactly the same regardless of both having vvl. There are inherent differences enough to not allow parts to be readily swapped between the two

I run mazworx billet p11 runners and xcessive manifold welded to the runners with flush mount inlet horns on a stock P11 VE TB. Should be good for an easy 500 whp on proper fuelling

Hey would be cool if you wanted to make a detailed post in the VVL head thread, with all this info etc. That way it doesn't get lost in this thread lol.
