Well, I hate to do this, but I don't have any choice. I'm leaving for North Carolina in January for an internship and have to sell my project 240. It's a 1990 SE Hatch with a 1991 KA24DE installed, but not running yet. The chassis has 132k miles and the engine has around 100k. I bought the car without an engine and installed the KA. All that is left to do is wire the car and get a few odds and ends - all the hard work has been done. I also took the opportunity to install many new parts such as Nismo engine and tranny mounts, new dist. cap and button, new tie rod ends, new driver's steering rack boot, new T/C rods, resurface the flywheel, etc. While the engine was out, I also painted the engine bay flat black since it was looking a little rough. The body is white with a dark drey interior.
The bad parts of the car:
*Body is a little rough with a dent in either rear quarter panel, rusty hatch (had a spoiler, but none now), dent in right front fender and right door and some other miscellaneous dings
*Dash is cracked
*Shocks are blown and should be replaced
The good points:
*All the hard work is done regarding the engine swap
*Many new parts and alot of cleaned/repainted parts
*A clean title
*Many extra parts
*SE model with sunroof, PW, PL, rear wiper, cruise control
*No HICAS (unfortunately, no limited slip)
*No ABS
I am negotiable on the price, but I think the car is worth what I am asking. I am located in Athens, GA (about an hour outside of Atlanta) and am looking to sell the car very soon.
