ok I found this mountain road, it's somewhere south of Tracy, and west of Modesto. it's about 30 miles long to a junction where it meets up with another road. There is a cafe where we can chill before heading back. the scenery is ok, but towards the top it's beautiful! hidden valleys and the sweet smell of pine. post up if you're interested and i'll see if we can go before the end of this month. I will send a map via PM so ask for it, keep this down low for now.
