Help! S13 check engine code #32

So I have a 1990 ka24e s13 and check engine light read code #32 which is egr function.... I replace a new egr already but after resetting ecu drove about 30 miles and it came back on reading same code. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

clean the egr

make sure the vacuum line to the egr isn't damaged/cut/punctured, and yes make sure the metal tube from the EGR to the intake manifold isn't plugged up with gunk
