yeah just keep in mind that whoever compiled that film cut out all the spin outs and etc. There were a handful of guys there with some nice skills, but the other half were spinning on every or everyother run. Nothing wrong with that, everyone did a good job.
Thing that pissed me off though, was the RWD guys throwing it all on the line in the competition, and 1 out of 2 runs they would spin, and since both the FWD guys didn't have to worry about spinning out, they just did E brake slides and burned off the front tires while pushing towards the outside of the cones, and the judges still said both of em passed the first round? that shit was pretty boring to watch.
And waiting for them to walk the dogs or whatever was totally lame.

hahaha, yea I was impressed by the El camino. That Civic surprised me the most. Not bad of a video, though they coutld've picked a font for the words.

reds14, I'm guessing you were the one with the molding air dam riveted to the front bumepr?
If I remember, that was the only red s14 there...

that dude had gigantic dents in the rear quarter panels... but he had some serious skills, I'd say he was one of the top 5 of the day easily. Looks like he put his money into event fees and tires instead of into suspension and body work. I'd say most of us could learn a lesson from that example.

yeah, the top 2 cars in the competition had amazing drivers. I popped a chunk of tread off my tire on my 2nd run and just lost it... bleh, oh well, still had alot of fun! post up all the pics your friend took, or send them to me and I'll get them hosted. [email protected]

oh yeah, I was the guy in the black 98 w/ the busted fender...

bwahaha, yeah... sucks for Thomas... I think he should just scrap his current S14 and swap everything over to another straight frame... something isn't right when your motors suddenly shifts 2" forward after an accident!

no, the mckinney mounts are slotted to allow for adjustment...
running into a wall prolly slammed the motor hard enough that the mounts slid a little. It could be something simple, like the mounts not being tightened properly.
I dunno, that car is pretty badass, even with the accident damage.
