Trouble getting in to second gear ?

Hey everyone, I'm super new to S-Chassis ( Just picked up my S13 SR swapped like last week ) and I'm wondering if it's common to get into second gear under full WOT. I've been thinking maybe I just have old or bad synchros.

Any help would be helpful.

try changing the oil first.. i have had good luck with redline
