View Full Version : New and innovative parts for S-chassis

I'd like to get a list of smaller companies still making cool parts for the s-chassis's. I feel like these companies are getting harder and harder to come by. If anyone has a neat product they found, please post them up!
A good example would be everything Auto-Collect Storm (https://www.auto-collectstorm.com/the-auto-parts-collection) is making. Villains (https://villainsdrift.bigcartel.com/) is also making a ton of cool parts.
Who else is making awesome products?

i came across some parts in a build thread from a little company called LI customs a couple years back, they only make upper radiator brackets for our cars and various parts for others.
http://www.li-customs.com/shop.php
Also there is G2 carbon, his username on here is G2 composites.
https://www.g2carbon.com/shop/
For anyone looking to shed weight on their track cars by getting lexan windows i found this website selling pre cut windows for our cars

CUZ THESE ARE DOPE AS FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK.
Honestly they're purely dress up parts, and add NO improved functionality over the oem ones, but they do look WAY better. That's good enough for me.

While they do have some questionable "aero" pieces, they do make some functional parts too:

You'd think that for the price that they are being sold for, that they would already have the Ti burnt.

I saw this as well- but then I saw NissanParts.cc post on their instagram story yesterday that they were shipping a set out to a customer. Either way, I bet you can still get the 180SX ones from Japan (which should be identical.)
These guys make some nice S chassis products:

Just to shout out Street Factions. The are the only ones who make a ctsv rear caliper adapter plate.... Also their Fire extinguisher bracket would be a life saver.

Got in on the first order, took a minute to get, but it's pretty sweet and fits very well, even with replacement (non-OEM) carpet. Plus, can't beat the price.

How heavy are those compared to the stock arms?
slider2828
09-19-2018, 04:20 PM
truthfully probably 3x the weight. Stock arms are super light.
This is pretty thick steel and nearly full boxed in.... but low enough center in the car that it won't matter too much

I have been digging what xcessive has been putting out recently. it can be hard to find stuff for the altezza chassis. it looks like there is some cool 240 stuff they are making too:

I have a T3 C-pillar brace in my coupe that I don't ever think they did production runs of. Its a nice piece.

No problem. Other rack fittings you aren't sure if the inner part is seated all the way in, but with Tightfit fittings, its seated well and then some!

Just got in a massive order from Taarks in for my sr20vet build, and Im blown away. Hopefully everyone knows of them by now but a lot of their parts (vvl conversion stuff) is pretty niche. After being a little disappointed by a Mazworx part I received the other day I was super impressed with the Taarks stuff. Beautiful billet pieces, fantastic anodizing, real attention to detail. Every part I ordered came with gorgeous brand new allen head hardware to boot. Shipped same day, got everything within 4 days (international). AUD to USD is really favorable right now as well so definitely check them out.

The best thing about these is there is no cutting required!

Thanks man. I really like the older cool parts for these cars that were made by Tomei, Hippo Sleek, Impul, and other small Japanese companies back in the day. There are few companies that really make anything truly unique for these cars anymore. These cars have been a hobby of mine for a long time now and just want to give some motivation for fresh ideas.

You don't have to retrofit... It comes in a small package....
Plug it in for the track or put it somewhere else.... Its literally a 7" standard raspberry pi screen in a case.... Thats it.....
AND it can have GPS module built in, so no more fiddling with dakato digital stuff for cd009.
