Does anyone know much it runs for parts and labor at a competent mechanic? I was told they were about to go when I had it looked over, but I never got an estimate. <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=';)'>
Thanks,

I had mine done at a Nissan dealer and it cost me $250, which included the parts, installation, bleeding of clutch lines, and replacement of fluid. It was done last August.

lmao. I was desperate, I didn't even have 1 inch of clutch pedal use. The shaft inside the master cylinder was actually broken and they said it was kind of a bitch to get out anyway because of it.
Getting mine done at the dealer only cost me $75 more than 91CRXsiR's job, so I don't think I got bent over too badly. <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/blush.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''>

The parts are only about $60 bucks total. Expect about 2/3 hrs for labor. So around 200bucks would be a good price.

The seals required for the rebuild will only cost you $15-20. It's quite simple once you've taken it apart. The bore sizes are stamped on the cylinders.

Well, the local dealer quoted me $360 plus tax and shop supplies. The master and slave from them added up to $200 alone! I haneded the guy the print out of courtesyparts.com and suggested that they find a way to get cheaper parts in the future. Meanwhile I applied some of the money I took out of the bank and oredered a FSM from them. Now I need a jack and stands. I am sick of being a money tree for greedy assholes. I'll leanr to do work myself.
At worst, I'll have to go to my mechanic and pay $300 for the whole job.
asshole dealers.

Mine cost $135 at the dealer. About two weeks ago. Both master and slave. Parts were $66.00.
