Ice Performance... anyone know what happened to them?

Just wondering if anyone got a refund that sponsored the event or any refund for that matter. I have tried to contact Doug I believe it was numerous times without luck. I have yet to receive a reponse to my email inquires about a refund for the money I paid to sponsor the cancelled 240sx convention in Vegas... and I'm getting close to bringing on the law.

If someone knows how to contact these guys... please let them know about this post and that they can contact me anytime at [email protected] Or if you can provide me with their email/phone number that works I would appreciate that also.

I wouldn't be complaining if I donated some shirts or something... but we're talking about monetary contribution and the fact that the cancellation of the event was handeled in such a manner that screwed those of us with hotel reservations etc... I was unable to cancel hotel reservations and had to eat the loss.

As I understand it, this is an idea that has been kicked around before (#/f/showthread.php?t=63185&highlight=cancelled) and before (#/f/showthread.php?t=62150)... I didn't give a nickel, so I will consider myself one of the blessed majority who didn't allow himself to be screwed.

Im about to drop 7g's to an over sea's organized event. God I hope they are legit, though I am sure they are.

Yeah... but being a part of the 240 community since 96 and knowing most of the sponsors that were on the list gave me confidence to participate and support the event.

So nobody knows about these guys huh... I guess it's time to bring on the lawyer.

So it looks like you have to contact Doug and wait as he sends you a refund. People have been receiving them, though slowly so good luck!

Others have given up or not pursued this considering it a "donation" to the 240sx Community. I think that's very noble but to be fair, I don't think he's the right representative. I could think of a few people who represent the community and would actually use/hold the funds for next years festivities. (Sorry, don't want to get all philosophical here so I'll leave that for another time/thread)
