paint job woe's

if you guys had to paint your car right now...what color would you pick

im having one of those...gee i like this color but theres too many red/blue/black 240sx's

and i dont want a color i might get sick of in 3 days =/

so anyone who feels like it toss up some pics plz n ty :)

Audi cosmos black metalic

or

Porsche Gunmetal metallic (a lot like the grey on the EVO MR)

this is the delimma i am facing right now cant decide which one for my car

i think i might add a white pearl coat over the black for some added depth

I also like the bronze color on the car in the hipposleek post in this forum

e30 bmw m3 slate grey. go search for color and my name. i started around a 3 page thread on peoples favorite car colors. should give you some ideas

yeah do the bmw m3 slate grey. good color. but if your not into the ' grey ' color, look at the mustangs sand something color. lol its like a greyish brownish color?

FOrd F350 gunmetal grey! something like that.. but i like it..
cant go wrong with regular white IMO.

my top choice is cosmic green from vw gti

but....i plan to two tone...black roof with bmw carbon black

and no greys/grays cuz i have gunmetal wheels

i like Laguna Seca Blue, Phoenix Yellow Metallic, and Le Mans Blue

Justin - I agree with you on the Laguna Seca blue, one of my neighbors has an M3 that color, he caught me humping it a while back...

BobbyBoy - My S14 was really close to that color, it was Toyota royal sapphire pearl

I think that when I paint my fastback, it will be the same charcoal that it is now, with a black roof. Always liked that look.

How much effort you putting into the paint on this car. Many of the colors listed are only going to look good if you spend the money on paint and prep. If cost is at all a concern go with white or a simple color.

white is only a little better due to the simplicity. mixing up a batch of fancy BMW paint doesn't cost that much more.

the trick is in the prep, if you screw that up ya might as well not paint the car.

if I had the funds, proper body work, and everything else that I want done to my s13 done I'd paint it Galaxy Black like my Titan.

I have pictures but you can't see the cool part about it which is the sparkle. Kinda like the was the PG dudes cars looked but in black.

I guess you have to see it up close

I'm personally going for a deep red color, sort of a "wine". That looks awesome, without being too overdone. (Although it's flashy enough that it'd probably wouldn't look right without a bodykit.)

blood red is a beautiful color. also there was an exclusive color that i saw for the VW Jetta for a while called "black magic" it's a great color.

well i was in that situation last winter! i finally decided on candy apple red/ brandy wine red from House Of Kolors! I do not regret the color one bit!! I love it!!! if you guys want to see what the paint looks like, click on the link in my signature! Im not trying to brag or anything but the pictures really dont show what it really looks like in real life! i went to two car shows this summer and brought home 3 trophies! 1 for best paint! 1 for 2nd best nissan, and 1 for 3rd best JDM!

I'm the same situation!! I've thinked about 4 colors for my kouki..
dark red w/black roof; black; dark grey w/blackrof or white..
I think go with white w carbon hood..very hard choice!! :wiggle:
