as some may know im on a restricted license for a dui charge @ virginia tech last aug, it was friends 21st birthday on mon night and i was the DD, well i got pulled over for the n1 exhaust and i was not driving under my restricted terms, i thought the cop would be cool becasue i was driving a drunk home and we showed my friends license that said he had just turned 21 two hours prior but nope, he was your normal fairfax county cop, a dick

so the car is impounded for 30 days and it looks like i wont be driving a 240 for the next year or so, sad part is is that i work full time and go to school full time, both of wich are 20 min away, so basicly im fcked, i really dont know what to do, re-enlisting the army crossed my mind, but i dont really even want to think about it, i have a meeting with my lawyer at 2 , but all my friends work so i cant even get a ride to meet with him, i never thought this day would come, i am royaly screwed, maybe even facing jail time <img src="#/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sad.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':('> i guess we will just have to see what happens on may 2 in court,

Man, I'm sorry to hear that! I hate Fairfax County cops for the most part! A couple of them have been cool, but for the most part ALL Virginia state cops suck ass!!! You do realize that State Troopers in VA go to Quantico to do their training right? That's why they are such hard asses. I'm sorry to hear that though, maybe when you go to court, your lawyer can get the charges dropped. I hope so because you were doing the safe thing and people shouldn't get punished for that.

Sorry to hear about what happened. Plead your case to the judge and if he's leanient(sp?) then they might let you drive to work and school only. One of my friends was able to do that. You can also try renting a car. One of my friends got 2 DUIs and he's still able to rent a car. A lot of times rental places won't check your background. Good luck with everything though.
