After removing my oem spoiler on my s14, the trunk springs are too strong and slam the trunk OPEN. I removed one of the lift springs in an attempt to reduce the amount of lifting power, but with only one spring attached, it isn't strong enough to hold the trunk open at all now. Anyone have a solution for this problem other than adding weight to the inside of the trunk lid equal to the weight of the spoiler I removed so my trunk won't slam open?
