This is an action that limits the things they can do, is always temporary, and length is determined by the severity of the offence.

Now, the pink users are generally pink for bieng an asshole to somebody, cursing at a mod/admin, or posting pyramid schemes. All of these are against the terms of service for Zilvia.

Now the problem is, the pink users don't get the fact that some mod/admin let them off easy for whatever offence, without a public flaming or banning. And what happens, they come back with bullshit threads like this, or they take small jabs at mods (like "the head" above). YOU'RE PINK BECAUSE YOU WEREN'T BANNED! How fucking hard do you guys have to make this on us?

With this new trend of pinkies attacking moderators and admins, this latest wave of pink users aren't just pink. It's like a new class, the delay-banned users. Because, after all, with these pink users acting out of line again, they get banned. Usually its only 5 minutes later, but "The head" has been pink for a while, and if he continues... he's just lumped into the class of "delay-banned" users. I'm not singling you out, or threatening you The Head. Just, you made a post that exemplifies my words, so I'm using it.

So.. with all this said, what do you think mods and admins should do?

I agree with the pinking thing, but I also think there should be some discretion on the part of the mods, with sometimes just giving a warning before pinking. IMO there has been a recent spike in moderator activity for whatever reason. I was one of the ones that was pinked(first banned without warning) and i did technically break the rules with an inapprpriate link. i could have been warned like the user agreement says..but i was first banned. I think you mods really need to calm down a little bit and realize this is a forum and it is just for entertainment. Pyramid schemes aside i dont think other ppl deserve what is served to them
