Althogh this is kind of a blanket statement, but what can the power fc not do. I heard that it can detect all sorts of engine problems, like sensor failure. What can it not detect?

shit i heard the main reason alot of ppl got it was to convert to MAP sensor so theat the maf dosent cause stumbling when they vent to atmo =)

Main reason is for easier and better tuning.

Don't worry, I checked the site, but it says on their that it can check to see if a sensor is in use or malfuctioning. I was asking if I can do this for all sensor and engine parts? Also if you remove the MAS for a MAP sensor, where do you plug it in?

It wont work like the F&F stand alone. I wish I had one of those...

Also if you remove the MAS for a MAP sensor, where do you plug it in

You will need the D-jetro model, and it will come with the sensors. you will want to drill a hole in your intake manifold and instal the sensors, near the runners if you can.

thanks for the info. Does a MAP equpied jetro have more potential then say a z32 MAS with a standard fc? Also what about a drag-pro power fc? how does this compare to the jetro and the standard?

Yes, it has more potential then any maf. It is more precise, and has unlimited boundaries. As for a comparison between the two standalones, I believe the drag one is maf, and has a launch set, where you would be able to gun it in neutral and the rpm's will only go up to what you set it to. There is also a setting where when you shift, it only goes to a set rpm while never taking your foot off the gas. There is also one that is in between the drag and D-jetro, It starts with an L and it also uses map, I cant think of the name, I will have to ask my friend tomorrow. Unless you’re going for drag, I would go with the D-jetro, or the plain pfc.

I'd go with D-jetro b/c that map will make you happier in the long run

I had read somewhere that after every mod you add to the engine, if your pfc is jetro, you will need a retune? Is this true?
