every time someone says "for their age" I worry...
And old school? Really? Is 33 stuff considered old school already?

Exactly, “seat has large tear in bolster and doesn’t recline, but hey, they’re 20 years old which makes it okay” is pretty much what I think every time I hear “for their age”.

$800 for stock cloth seats? That’s a hard pass. I’d rather spend that on a decent sport seat.
Also this isn’t really a topic for the tech section.

No, $800 for factory seats? No.

Well, S15 blues and oranges go for more than that. And they’re oem seats.

not sure where you can find a set of good set of after market seats for 800 bucks. anything recaro or bride is easily over 1000....

I never said a set of sport seats. I said A sport seat.
Also you can get a pair of Corbeau FX1 Pro for less that these cloth seats that probably have 30 years of farts embedded in them.

sorry, misread that...
i actually prefer the OEM look and two matching seats. Not looking to drift the car or anything.
anyways - got the seats yesterday. they were in great condition- fabric was intact with no cig burns. Bottom railing looked good too. Only thing i noticed was the seat belt buckle was loose and dirty.
i sat in them briefly and actually thought the side bolsters were bit tight...maybe i just need to get use to them since ive been sloshing around in my stock s14s.
thanks for everyones input.

Hey as long as you're satisfied. I'm sure everybody likes those, I know I do, it's just the price seemed a bit steep. Hope you dropped that a bit.
And I like reclinable seats and matching front seats too.
For my next build I'm planning on finding a pair of oem recaro seats.
