the better question, is will your sr tranny fit in my sr, and yes yes it will. but if you dont want to go that way, then I would just have to say, that to make a ka tranny work on an sr, u have to swap bellhousing, so im just takin a wild guess, but yah your going to have to swap the bellhousing, its not a whole lot easy but I know people do it alot so prolly not too hard.

I've had to do this, actually the opposite(ka on sr)but same principle. Its really pretty straight forward, just remove the bellhousing and switch them. The hardest part is lining up all the holes and shafts. Plus the horrible smell of tranny fluid.

And finding a SR bellhousing. ;)

Alright, thanks for the advice. I'll just swap the bell housing since i have both the sr and ka transmissions shouldn't be too big of a problem.

the bell housing is easy to remove, just unbolt the housing, and get to the E (or C) clip behind the throwout bearing and it give it some love taps around the sides with a rubber mallet, it'll come right off

I swear I'm going to fucking kill someone for every question that has been asked and answered over 100 times!

Why can't all of us (people who know the answers to these questiong, or how to find the answers) band together and tell noobs to search? Wouldn't Zilvia be a much better place if EVERYONE searched before posting?!? And if someone didn't search first, if 50 people posted telling the damn idiot to search, and not one person posted the answer. wouldn't that be great? ahhhhhhh I guess a perfect world isn't achievable, it's a crying shame.

Eh,.. tell the people to search, but at the same time, answer their question if you know it. It's annoying for people who actually do search and just find a thread that ends with "search noob" without the question ever being answered.
