Sounds tough!

Thanks man! Those straight cut gears are so whinny, they really come alive I bet at high rpm. Can?t wait to get this tuned so I can rev it up and see what it can do.

Appreciate it man! Yea it sounds so much better with the new exhaust and the super charger of course. I have to start getting random odds and ends. I have a new rack in the mail and I?m in the process of getting the front calipers powder coated once I mock up the ctsv brackets. Hoping no issues with the GKTech V2 knuckles.

Update 10/8/20

In the process of getting the 4 piston CTSV brake calipers smoothed out from the previous owners hack job on installing the ctsv.com brackets even though I cant use them. I ordered G2 brackets so we'll see how those do when they arrive.

I got some 4AWG deutsch plugs off a paver at work, absolutely love the nice clean simplicity and use of just these larger single wire power connections. This particular connector is to connect the Chase Bays ignition wire to the factory Black/Yellow off ignition swtich.

https://i.imgur.com/19zVHj3l.jpg

Wired the starlight headliner finally to a fuse and got the B pillar panels put on with the fiber optics ran. I only have a few more power connections to run out for the louvers and door sills, then I will be putting the dash in. I am hoping to have dash in by weekend and I will update more with this being a holiday weekend for me.

Parts are continuing to stack up, cant wait to show you guys the interior stuff.

I wasn't even expecting the interior stuff, but here we are...

What kind of rotor size can you run with those Caddy calipers, boss?

Haha thanks man!!! Here comes some more! I believe theyre 350Z track rotors i got with the kit. I am going to end up switching my knuckles out cause my V2 will not allow any calipers other than stock or Z32.

Update 10/18/20

Finally getting around to more interior work. Routed the S14 under dash lights and it was fairly straight forward. I have one red fused wire lead that was cut which I assume is either constant or ignition power. The system uses the JDM driver side door latch sensor as the signal to go on/off. With that being said, I've tried three sensors, neither of them are making it function as should so I will have to figure that out.

It's amazing what a little interior can do, I am working on the rest of the headlight wiring and more parts in the mail such as steering rack and new knuckles. I'll have more soon.

Update 10/22/20

Got more of the dash together along with getting the defi gauges in the ashtray slot using BreakBeat Garage adapter which is amazing.

https://i.imgur.com/BCVcZCfl.jpg

Need some brackets to get the center console in completely and also rear upper seat brackets are on the way.

https://i.imgur.com/T3eSUF7l.jpg

I was not aware when I bought this that this was a cap...super disappointed. However, its on and looks good.

https://i.imgur.com/15AthbXl.jpg

As much as I love Sikky products, their signature green is just too loud for my theme I am trying to stay with so the sway bar, brake calipers and roll cage all in
Tomei green (or as close as I can get it).

Next up:

- New GKTech V4 knuckles, will get on over weekend and test fit G2 CTSV brackets. If all is good, then off to powder coat.

- Solder back ribbon areas of hud gauge cluster to fix grounding issue.

- Wire up headlights, fans, horns, auto ac sensor.

- Driveshaft is on the way from Sikky.

- Ordered all the OEM seals, clips, molding set for the front window and will get a new front window once that all arrives.

I will be back on it over the weekend.

Thanks bro I?m trying!

I got all the window seals from either Nissanparts (Washington dealership) and Fontana Nissan down here by me gets many hard to get oem and even lots of jdm parts. Plus I get a slight discount at Fontana Nissan so I try to go there when I can.

Hey man I appreciate that a lot thank you. It gets plenty of mixed reviews, all we can do is execute and make it exactly how we want right? I hope to have some better progress on it soon. Dyno session is coming up soon once I can get the steering together.

PSA...I know it?s my own fault but sometimes the RHD parts availability is just shit lol.

Update 10/26/20

I never really expect anyone to come and help me, but this Sunday a few really good friends came over and helped me dial in the front end wiring. Solder all the connections and started putting sheathing over the wiring and running it over the wheel well so no rubbing.

Everything is all tucked and finished now here for the front fans, horn, lights and auto AC sensor. Also I was able to install the GKTech V4 knuckles, they fit the G2 Carbon CTSV brake adapter so I will proceed finally with powder coat. Hopefully Ill be back on the ground with this thing by end of month. I have secured another S15 rack and will be throwing that in as soon as I get it.

Update 11/7/20

Still making progress on this thing, some days seem really productive while others feel completely wasted cause it took forever to do something small.

Got the G2 Carbon CTSV brake brackets on the new GKTech V4 knuckles. Test fitting, need to machine custom spacer for lower hole and then get powder coated.

https://i.imgur.com/hx806iRl.jpg

Got my rear seats in finally, Sikky driveshaft came in.

https://i.imgur.com/yIhskPwl.jpg

https://i.imgur.com/hr26mial.jpg

Used S15 rack came in from Russia, took it apart and replaced seals and then painted.

https://i.imgur.com/phHynwOl.jpg

https://i.imgur.com/6k7opzIl.jpg

Using the PHR billet schassis top hat they mentioned in the instructions for install that the new tophat sat slightly higher towards from of vehicle so the tank plate cover needed to be modified. Cut out U shape, bent up and then tig welded in a small piece of sheet metal. My welds are the best it was so small had to have the voltage almost at nothing. Anyways, got it painted by JP and also my oem center console bracket my car has been missing.

https://i.imgur.com/MkICFXSl.jpg

https://i.imgur.com/XzmeFotl.jpg

More parts are showing up still, got my new oem Nissan front windshield molding and a good condition S15 wing that I am going to modify and use one day.

https://i.imgur.com/e4b4xKHl.jpg

https://i.imgur.com/trorsOAl.jpg

I will be back on the car today and hopefully finish the rack install and then put front wheels on and roll car out to get the door windows in and start putting fenders and bumper on. Once the rest of the front window parts arrive from Nissanparts I will order a front windshield and get that installed.

I need to order the front windshield next week once the rest of my seals get in. Working on getting door windows in and panels installed. After that I will get the sway bar and front calipers back from powder coat and rebuild the calipers. Took my measurement for my spacer needed for the G2 brackets. I plan to keep it coming so whoever is watching don't worry :hsdance:

Update 12/3/20

A good buddy of mine was selling his old set of S15 rear seats for cheap so I picked them up. I used my bissell to clean them first, then used fabric accents dye on them and they came out stellar. So much I am going to do my R32 seats next.

https://i.imgur.com/FDlUc8bl.jpg

https://i.imgur.com/u0WPmL8l.jpg

Added in an additional relay for the fuel pump signal using the stock signal wire for fuel pump on to be my trigger and used larger wire going to the walbaro 525.

https://i.imgur.com/uO2YCoVl.jpg

Rear speakers are in and deck lid installed. Started to clean up the tail light wiring in the trunk with new push clip zipties and nice fabric sheathing.

https://i.imgur.com/C268enLl.jpg

https://i.imgur.com/5JD8uVGl.jpg

I purchased a broken yet authentic Nismo old logo RHD S14 gauge holder from a member on here. I tossed the 100mm gauge and my awesome buddy at BreakBeat made me a custom adapter to fit my 52mm Defi boost gauge. I used JB weld to reinforce the fractured area, then used JB weld to put M5.8 nuts on the inside to give me mounting areas for tabs to secure the holder to the door card.

https://i.imgur.com/VVqotMOl.jpg

https://i.imgur.com/j3Ekq4Xl.jpg

https://i.imgur.com/izqB4GXl.jpg

Finally got around to getting the Sikky sway bar and CTSV calipers powder coated. I took a risk on the color and it came out so perfectly I couldn't have taken credit for it going any better.

https://i.imgur.com/sCee57al.jpg

https://i.imgur.com/3XHqDI0l.jpg

https://i.imgur.com/0TkQt9Pl.jpg

Immediately of course, I had to rebuild them and get them laced up with new stickers and lines.

https://i.imgur.com/dz798r9l.jpg

https://i.imgur.com/USZJgVOl.jpg

The CTSV calipers came loaded with rotors and pads in good condition, just some surface rust on the rotors from sitting. So I took them to work and sandblasted them then turned them on my machine. Rotors are now good to go for install.

I went ahead and purchased a Greddy Gracer lip for the front end since I feel it needs some more flare to go with the rest of the body. Going to pick that up Saturday and then get JP to paint it along with my caliper crossover tubes. Goal is to get the kouki rear bumper/valances, brakes, sway bar all on this weekend. Well see how it goes :keke:

I wanted to get to this sooner but Zilvia is having malfunctions making me worry I'm writing this all for nothing :wtf:

https://i.imgur.com/ajMmHVrl.jpg

As promised...the Greddy Gracer lip arrived. However, what would you expect from my build yet if you didn't see something brand new get cut up? I knew from the start the center would have to be altered due to the bash bar and intercooler setup.

Flashback: To when I installed the G2 Carbon CTSV swap brackets. The fitment is horrible, puts caliper far off the rotor contact area by a long shot. Decided to switch back to CTSVswap brackets since now on GKTech V4 knuckles. I did in fact have to still modify both the CTSVswap bracket and the GKTech V4 knuckles to fit the setup correctly. Overall its minimal in areas not stressed and the outcome is exactly as I wanted. Also wrapped the Chasebays tucked brake lines in the vulcan black sleeve to keep everything nice and protected.

Heres how the car currently sits. I have got the base map loaded on however I am waiting for 1000cc injectors in the mail from Link. Aiming to get an alignement this week and then I will be finally testing it around my street. I had to extend many of the custom rear tail harnesses that I got from a buddy since I have no idea where they mounted the show mode switches and with all of them connected it would have placed it right in the center of the trunk.

Tomorrow I will finish the tail light install, gauge cluster surround, and run the louver power switch in the center console area. After I finish the tails, I can install fatmat in the trunk area and put my lrb speed trunk floor pan in. It’s just small things at this point until I can get the car fully on the road and final tune.

Update 1/5/21

Small update photo wise but I was able to make huge progress on the drivability of the car this weekend.

I finally lengthened all the tail light harnesses for the show mode switch boxes and got the trunk interior completely setup and ready to go . It was an absolute mess so I feel a huge weight lifted from me now that this is done.

My Breakbeat garage gauge pod for the AFR looks fantastic so happy I was able to grab some before he ended his venture for now in our chassis. I cut my brand new RHD dash cover for the HUD and its being hemmed should be back soon.

The new Bosch 1000cc injectors finally showed up, I installed them yesterday along with the tophats to fit my setup.

Also got around to installing the other portion of the knee pad set to the door panel. Using 3M tape it feels extremely sturdy. Will have to keep an eye on it as the days go by to make sure it doesn't sag or fall.

Car will be getting the updated map for the new injectors tomorrow and my tuner will adjust it off the data log thats been recording in my little drives. Ill update this if I see any bumps otherwise its back on road :coold:

Thank you! I still have to finish up the interior but thrilled to be on home stretch. The altezza is up next on the chop block haha.

Awesome. Been waiting for this one to finish.

Me too man! Haha once I can drive it around more I?ll be able to figure out everything. The car needs to go back to the body shop and the tune will be in February if all goes as planned. Rear brakes and cage powder coat work is up next on things to do.

Got the roll cage powder coated finally, install was just as fun as last time except I did my best to remove the paint on the surfaces that slide so ease of install. Loving the contrast of the colors together really pops in the sunlight.

The car finally made it to the dyno, on 6lbs of boost we made 500HP/506TQ, however we had to stop cause of my wideband not working properly and also I keep melting my plug wires on #3 and #6 due to the long tubes so I am in the process of working on correcting that. The car drives like a bat out of hell at the current setting, I will have a video posted soon I hope.

https://i.imgur.com/D2ZR37Jl.jpg

On the way home from the dyno I blew my rack seals so I have removed the rack and will be rebuilding it this week at work. If all goes well car will be back at body shop for final buff and color issues.

Update 3/9/20

Welp after the dyno as I mentioned the rack had blown out from I think just old seals. Still in process of measuring my spare racks and trying to see if any wear internally before I slap another one together. However, that being said I also found a few areas that were literally cooking so I have spent time on fire proofing things.

Sikky motor mounts starting to bubble, even with my headers coated! I am not going to say anything bad about Sikky, but they should have mentioned this or made a note about it.

https://i.imgur.com/upfijATl.jpg

Added DEI floor and tunnel which is 10mm thick and some metal zip ties.

https://i.imgur.com/utrEjETl.jpg?1

Also added to areas under neath that didn't have any already..primarily on header collectors.

https://i.imgur.com/Fe11qbul.jpg

https://i.imgur.com/ggSY6Knl.jpg

Calipers are back from powder coat, absolutely love the color.
Got the left side on and installed with powerstop track day pads and new lines. Will finish the other side soon.

https://i.imgur.com/w1rrqo5l.jpg

https://i.imgur.com/U4ZWY19l.jpg

https://i.imgur.com/XLnIkLll.jpg

Also if you see above photo is where OC mobile alignment came out and hit my fender with my wheel, I was pissed but ending up in jail isn't worth it. Long story short the guy was not even gonna tell me he did it, not a professional and I most certainly do not recommend him to anyone hes absolute garbage. Good thing I have a badass friend who paints <3

My old cusco c pillar bar stripped the threads on the heim joints so I went with a solid one piece design from TechnoToyTuning. Long wait but worth it.

https://i.imgur.com/QCJArGyl.jpg

https://i.imgur.com/9ndfJPsl.jpg

Once the car goes back to body shop I will be having the rear pulled slightly to fit these Mickey Thompson street ss 275/45. Yes I know its big...No I don't care if you think its gonna look bad, like a drag car or not be stanced out. After driving it home on the 245/40 I quickly realized I need meat....

https://i.imgur.com/RY1jSa5l.jpg

https://i.imgur.com/HWZJyj4l.jpg

Also wanted to squeeze as much out of the V3 blower as possible without over spinning the impeller. Went with a ZPE Griptec 3.12" pulley and a new belt which brought the window of tension dead center so I am happy with that. Laced it up with those new Dressupbolts M6 allen heads, added a K&N sock for any accidental moisture.

https://i.imgur.com/KRyhHXol.jpg

https://i.imgur.com/s0vVYNcl.jpg

I am just gonna finish the rack this week and try to get the rest of the small things sorted like dying the other seat and finishing the interior. I know on the rear panels with cages people slide it through the panel but I have added things in those open spaces and wanted to be able to remove them if any issues or need be. So as much as it pains me to say I am going with LRB rear panels since they'll be easier to remove. I plan to modify them so they cover more of the rear wheel well by adding another piece that bolts to it and then powder coating them a flat black so they blend in.

I?m really against over fenders, but I do agree that the profile is too large. That?s the smallest Mickey they make in 18?. I want to move to Hoosier 275/35, as these are 275/45. That would give me more room to bring things back and have less rub over large bumps.

Update 7/7/21

Sorry I havent updated this in a while, it's been so great to get the car out and about. Got tired of how the R32 seats felt and needed something that held me better and looked better honestly. Thank you! Majority of them and all the purple are from Color fittings, a newer company but building steam fast.

Alignment and getting more parts installed soon. My innovative has died completely and it?s time to put the AEM in. Also just got a GoPro so I?ll be trying to get some video footage soon. The hardest part will be the editing but I?ll see what I can do.
