I am pretty much on the last step, rerouting my vacuum lines. My BPT valve had one line running to the back of the engine and was connected to number 1 (see pic). It didn't have a split like in the guide I found. 2 and 3 was connected together.

Am I suppose to cap off 2 and connect 1 and 3 together?

I am following this guide here but I am pretty sure it's for an S13. http://tech.240sxone.com/115/ka24de-egr-removal/

Thanks in advance!

I had trouble with this too. Yes you can totally do that. provided that the bottom line is connected also.

1, 2, and the one below it are all 3 connected - it's just one big splitter here is a better picture of it (my car 95 KA-T)

The whole point from my understanding is so the solenoid back there gets air going to it. I ignored it and just ran the vacuum line from your #3 back into the one right beside it and I have not had any issues, going on 6-7 months

So I found all the ports you guys have and will be connecting my 1&3 in your images. But for the kat one you have twins on the bottom and op has 1. I have twins on the bottom but both my ports still have hoses. Also what is my top circle port for. It still has some remnants of a line but u can't figure out what its for

It is just a flat plate with one tube that forks into more tubes. technically you can run them all together.

Or on my 95. I just removed the plate and ignored the sensor and didnt have any issues

What did you need Bernie? There’s a way better thread on here for it let me look.

Working on a 1995 KA24DE
EGR is gone.
There is an small over 2 pin connector dangling back there not plugged into anything.
The EGR solenoid is still plugged in to keep the ecu code clear.
Looking for a clear S14 95 vac diagram for that area and maybe some idea on the loose connector. Its been years since I had stock KA here for reference.

So I have the complete solenoid w. all lines stock.

When I cap #2 and link 1 to 3 it seems like the idle is still a little high

Is the answer to ignore the whole vac tree bracket and loop these 2 instead?
If so what about the vac port on the solenoid?
Or should I be capping the line that feeds the solenoid which is not shown in either of these?

That 3 tee bracket is just a manifold. They just all tie together so if you leave one open you can leave them all open. That’s what I did to mine. I looped the two lower ones coming from under the intake manifold together. It’s a 95 so obd1 shouldn’t throw any codes

Thanks . - how about the hoses that go to the solenoid? including the one that connects to the metal nipple on it?
