Vq35de pulling timing

Bone stock 05 g35 vq35de rev-up. Cruising and light throttle acceleration ignition timing is around 35 degrees advanced. Perfect. If i get into the throttle just a little bit, say, 20% or more, timing goes to 1 degree advanced then slowly works it way up to 9 degrees and the car obviously has no power.
Literally the only thing i can think of is knock sensor but it has no codes. I will test it when i get a chance.
Does anyone else know what could cause this?
