My SR will die on cold start if i do not play with the gas till the rpm stabalize at 1400 rpm. When i came to a stop from any speed the car would almost stall out. I have had a slight missfire for about 4 months but the last month and a half have gotten much worse(ex:missfires in gear sometimes and Engine shakes violently). So far i have regapped spark plugs .028, changed coil packs(slightly helped missfire but got worse soon after i installed these), cleaned AFM, cleaned aac valve(rpm no longer falls off when coming to a stop), engine oil changed with full synthetic or synthetic blend 2500 miles.

I took to have engine diagnostic run but they couldnt get a signal from my o2 sensor which was brand new the beginning of this year. When i unplug my o2 sensor and drive it doesnt drive much different. Does that mean it needs replacing? I have checked for vacuum leaks but found none, my BOV seems to be working the same so i dont think nothin is wrong with that. Timing chain needs to be replaced but that couldnt be the root of my problems could it? I tried to run self diagnostic with ECU and came up with code 55(55 - Other Malfunction. CONSULT Terminal Required ). If you need more information to better help me just ask ill see what i can do.

55 = No Malfunction (in the sensors, anyway); according to FSM

Your problem is probably the BOV. Try running the stock recirc valve and see what happens. If its not, then work from there.

Good luck

yah sometimes my cold starts will eventually kill the engine, but usually it just gets to 1400 then slows in like 3 minutes to 800, that happens even on regular starts, dono if its normal.

could be a exhaust leak? or a manifold gasket leak? it does that on my FC

Check spark, blueish color means good spark. CAS might need resetting or replacing. TDC then set CAS. Misfiring is probably from timing issue.

my sr just started doing the same thing will rev at 1400 rpm for a couple minutes then idles down to around 800 and I have a exhaust leak between my manifold and turbo thats the prob cause I know my cas is working and my o2 is perfect. Check for exhaust leaks before the o2

Have you checked the grounding on your Ignitor wiring harness?

This is possibly the culprit. Make sure its secure and not loose otherwise over time vibrations will make the mis-fire worse and worse.

Other than that I would check your actual CAS and each ignitior to make sure they are working properly.
