Bought used 95 s14. I am parasitic drag from the alternator. It has orange and black wires coming from the alternator. The orange is spliced to a red white wire and the black one to a yellow wire. Is this correct?? And help is appreciated. Thanks

I think I may have solved the problem. Switched wires on plug. If your looking down at alternator the plug wires should be wht/red wire on top for anyone with same issue. I bought the car used and there was wire splicing done wrong.

That's weird, I had the same problem with my s14 when I bought it years ago. Someone had the warning light signal and charge wire swapped. Caused battery drain, high voltage during running, srs lights flashing. Went through two alternators until I found the issue and redid the their splices.
