I searched but couldn't seem to find much..Can i put an s13 vlsd into an s14? Does it fit directly or do I need to swap the internals into my diff or something? TIA

The differences I saw when I put an S14 VLSD into my S13:
Diff covers are different (S13 has 4 bolts/mounting holes on cover) and the S14 only has 2. --- Easily can be swapped over, don't forget a new gasket.
Differential front mounting points in an S14/J30 has bushings. There are no bushings in an S13 differential in the front. Just holes in the metal -- maybe makes for a "rougher" ride? No complaints so far.
So I figure if you have an S13 VLSD and putting into your S14:
1) Swap diff covers
2) Get S13 front mounting bolts. They are shorter than the S14 front bolts, I have a pair, since I bought the new S14 mounting bolts when I installed my diff. Lemme know if you want them
Other than that, I can't see any other problems with your install. Hopefully its also matching 6-bolt halfshafts. Good luck!
