I was going through the polls and posted this:

Just a breif history.... just from stuff I've picked up....
silvia engines:
CSP331: "R"16
S10: L20B ("Sakura" chassis)
S11: Nissan sold a few S11's with rotary engines, designation unknown (1000cc twin rotor with 4 barrel carb)
S110: FJ20E, (L20 U.S.)
S12: FJ20, FJ20ET, (CA20, CA18ET Europe + VG30ET US)
S13: CA18DE, CA18DET, SR20DET (KA24E, KA24DE US)
S14: SR20DE, SR20DET (KA24DE US)
S15: SR20DET

I wasn't exactly clear on some of the later available engines... like if the S13 ever sold with the SR20DE... since from what I've seen from a few pages the S14 had the SR20DE as an option while the S13 already had the CA18DE.... I've also never seen the S15 with an SR20DE....
I THINK I got most of the older engines though

sr20de was available in the late silvia s13 q's and j's, so yes it was an option, and in s12 it was vg30e, never vg30et as an option. other than that looking pretty much complete

All right Ace, you got to stop sending me off on research tangents. &nbsp;<img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'>

"Nissan took a Wankel license in 1970 and created a prototype in 1972. It planned to produce a small sports car at the rate of 120,000 cars per year, but eventually cancelled after the 1973 oil crisis."(Link) (http://www.fortunecity.com/silverstone/lancia/58/classic/gm.htm#Rotory%20engine)

Found this page too. (http://www.google.com/search?q=cache:H9ZZi4X7kcQC:asmic.com/collect/rotary1999/rotary_e.pdf+wankel+engine+history+nissan+S110&hl=en). It kept coming up when I searched for "Nissan S110 rotary". I don't know if there is anything in there about the Nissan Wankel, I didn't have the patients to read it all.

lol.... sorry about that.

anyways, i'm still wondering about the specs on the rotary.... it's too bad they had to end it just because of the oil crisis though. &nbsp;it's definitely some interesting info....
