well i was searchin around ebay, and found this t70 turbo kit, then I searched here for t70 and found nothing pertinent, so I wanted to ask you guys about it, It is like 550 dollars, for a turbo, manifold, ext wastegate, bov and all hardware, has anyone heard of these or know anything about them. I would think for 550 it would suck, but anyway thats dirt cheap.
well heres a link , I lost the BIN link but heres one that ends soon at even lower price http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=7930541190&category=33742

XS Power = Stone Racing = SS Autochrome.
T70 is way too big for daily driving, anyway.

Nice, if you happen to like running a Chinese-Made off-brand Turbo, BOV, AND wastegate.
Personally, I wouldn't use those on my car if I was paid to.
I love how the ID plate on the turbo just says "Turbocharger" instead of Garret or a real company name.

a T70 is a turbo that big-hp supras use occaissionally... so NO it wouldnt work too well on your car :)
I'd be suprised to see it spool before 6000rpms

I've heard so many complaints with that company about people getting turbos with bad oil seals, too much shaft play, or even bent fins! doesn't sound like they use new turbos.
Second, their manifolds crack. thats almost certain. they have been selling them a while, and they have a proven track record of being total pieces of crap. I know one guy whose entire wastegate and flange shot off the manifold during a dyno run.
third, cheap wastegates are dangerous and crappy. That is a very important part of a turbo kit, and using a cheap wastegate is risking lots of damage to your motor.. possibly thousands if you have upgraded to forged internals.
Also how they say you need to move the master cyl, like thats no big deal?
dude, don't fuck with your brakes just to strap some giant cheap turbo under your hood. Relocating the master cyl is gonna be a lot of work, and probably not too safe.
finally, they don't even show the fucking kit you are buying. They say its for sr20 and they show what... a ca18det? different motor. why???
an even bigger question, why is it running a different manifold??
dude they just took some stock photos of a T70 turbo, nevermind that its a different kit from a different car.
thats just fucking shady.

You'll be surprised how much daily stuff you use is Chinese Made. A lot parts that says made in japan is actually made from China and pieced up in Japan. So yea don't be marking Chinese products.

its not the workmanship from chinese made items, but more of the quality of the material. china is to japan as mexico is to the unitedstates ; )
actually the new KA and SR manifolds from SSA are supposed to be pretty good quality... the lifetime warranty doesnt hurt either...

they have a proven track record of sucking. and a pretty good history of not standing behind their products. they are an ebay company wtf does a lifetime warranty mean to them? they sell shit under like 15 screen names (once one gets too many negative, they start over, or?)
