I'm having an interesting issue with my s13. Drove it to my boys house last night to roll out to a meet. Shut it off for about 20 min waiting for him to pull up from work. I left the radio on for those 20 min.. he got home we go to leave and nothing. Now I'm thinking the battery is dead so we try jumping it off his miata.. still nothing.. tried jumping it with a brand new fully charged booster pack. Nothing once again.. lights and all electronics still turn on and don't dim when turning the key.

I did a 5 speed swap to my s13 so I figured it could be the wire that's jumped together to bypass the neutral safety switch.. I unplug it make sure that its together then push it back in to make sure it's in there. Guess What, still nothing. When the key is turned you can hear the clicking noise. I can't see it being the key cylinder since it's clicking. Also wouldn't think that its my starter because I have never had the slightest problem with it.

Only other thing I didn't have a chance to take a look at was fuses. Besides a blown fuse what else could it possibly be?

Idk how this even happens from just listening to the radio.

You should try jumping the starter just to see, you never know.

That click you're hearing could very well be the starter solenoid
