240sx Owners in NYC/LI Area

Hey! Im not sure where to post this so sorry if this is the wrong place. Im still new here but anyways i was wondering how many of you guys live in either the 5 boroughs or long island. I’ve had my car for 3 years and go to the usual meets/shows around here & have only seen a handful of 240’s and even less well executed ones. checkout @bright_wind, the front street guys, @s14karma and his friends (ig usernames). there's a bunch of us. we used to meet up at Caeser's bay yeaaaaaaars ago. Now usually at someones house then sonic. 9 out of 10 meets suck these days so most of the older 240 heads lay low.

Nice, he's a good dude. I'll hit you up if anything comes up. We usually throw a couple of bbqs when the weather gets nice. Its mainly super clean s chassis. This is autri from tmspl btw.

It really sucks but thats the cost of living out here & as for shops. I know a really good guy, his ig is @cjmotoring, he does almost everything. On my car and has worked on @bright_wind car also

What's up man nice car , am from queens , import fanatix use to have a meet every other Saturday in the 90s early 2000s on the belt , toysrus parking lot , but we have all grown up lolsss but still have our cars in the area , next time there is a meet I'll let you know if I remember this post hahahaha my ig is @dtoy666 hit me up there and we could organize something !

Yeah it really sucked a ton :/ thankfully i fixed it really fast & got stuff repainted. Its not 100% straight but its better then nothing

My last car was an 8th gen Civic Si and the scene was liiiit for those. And the forum was popping so hard. I'm trying to find a 240 scene in my town now aha. I'm in Tampa Bay but your chat is popping a little so Ima hangout if that's kewl :fruit:

Yeah true that. I just picked my car up and the front bumper is unpainted so I need to work on that. The body is pretty str8 so I don't really want to do a color change. I kinda wanna swap out the wheels doe. But for now I'm just gonna chill with all that.

The turbo seals are blown on the SR20DET so I either need to repair that or I was thinking of swapping in a new T28 or something from eBay <____< They seem to work when BoostedBoiz use them lmao

My boy just told me if you have Geico, they replace them for free! He has a silvia with a HUD Glass (1200$) & they replaced it for free!

I also have someone out in the bronx who can do it for 200$! But i’d suggest calling your insurance to see if they offer the same deal, just tell them your windshield is cracked etc.

^True that. Fortunately in FL one can replace a windshield once a year by law. I've only had to do it juance I think :eek3d:
