:eek3d: :eek3d: i was offered a used set of r33 gts-t calipers(front and rear) with hardware and pads for $240. is that a good deal?
i see alot of z32 rebuilt calipers selling for really high prices and always wondered why since you can get them for autozone for around 150 a pair..

i also read that the these R33 GTS-T calipers are the same as the R32 and Z32 calipers so i was wondering where to get conversion ss brake lines for the rear, i know you get get the front ones for pdm and other places. and do you need to get a z32 master cylinder?

Thanks in advance

R33 GTS25t fronts are the same as the R32 GT-R. Same brake pad as the Z32 or R32 GTSt, but the rotor is bigger, like 11.75" vs. 11.0".

YES you need a big master cylinder... Z32 1" or 1-1/16" is perfect

Z32 rotors are 280x26mm/30mm, R32 GT-R rotors are 296x32mm, your calipers are made for 296x30mm rotors. So besides the price of the calipers, you need to also think about where you're gonna source the rotors from.....

what do you think about the pricing though? $240 for the set a good deal or just avg?

that is a decent price. The z32 calipers can be had rebiult from autoZone for 120 EACH, not per pair, unless you give them a core

What do you plan on doing with the car first. Auto-x, Drift, Roadcourse? Do you really need those brakes? Once you have figured out that then decide on wheather or not to buy them. Dont buy just because they are cool when they could be complete overkill.

Build a car around what you want to do with it, have you driven to the stock brakes to the point of heat fade? Tried new calipers and brake pads? If you feel you need the big brakes then make a decision thats the best way.
