So i recently picked up a project. Has 349k miles on the ka and was leaking everywhere imaginable so i decided to rebuild it. I've got the head off the block and I'm not sure if i should do pistons, all the bearings etc. or not. The block is still in the car currently but i can easily pull it. Im just looking to have this car as my new daily so i can turn my current daily 240 into a dedicated drift car. Its completely stock and will stay that way. The cylinder walls all look good and smooth and nothing seemed out of the ordinary.

So with all that said, should i do bottom end even though im never gonna be shooting for a high hp build?

With that many miles, I'd do a complete rebuild. Nothing crazy, just machine work of needed, rings, bearings, and seals.
