god damn I always love lookin at pics from japan, their archetecture and cleanlieness is amazing. well ive never been, but in every pic it looks so nice and clean and shit.

Heh... From afar, or through the lens of a camera, Japan seems pretty clean... If you get into any kinda of industrialized area though, you'll find that the roadside plants and everything else are covered in a layer of black exhaust, that there are homeless and graffiti under bridges (as well as lots of litter). I'll give Japan at large a better 'cleanliness' rating (or at least better overall aesthetics) than the States, but there are alot of things I see (like soot covered plants) that make me sick. You guys think diesels in the States fart some nasty smoke? Man... drop in behind a Nissan Diesel or a nice big Hino or Nippon Fruehauf. You about choke if you don't have your windows up.
