I am on my 3rd remanuf starter from O'Reilly on a stock KA. The one currently in is an Ultima. After year or 1.5yr I think its starting to fail again. The battery seems fine. Put that in a year ago. Is there a general consensus on how long these usually last. Are there any good aftermarket new ones that have a good reputation. I think the oem is still available at $245.

I too bought mine from AutoZone. Its a Duralast and I've had it on my car for almost a year now and have had no issues at all. My car starts up instantaneously, all the time, doesn't need to crank long or anything.
