ok i got a fix-it ticket for not having a license plate on my front bumper, but then i really do. i guess he didn't take an effort to really look because i parked somewhere and i came back and the ticket was on my windshield. below is an old pic of my car with the attached license plate that has been there till this day. how can i prove that i had it on already and will there be any chances of them asking me to pop my hood when i go to the station?

just mount your plate where it should be, get the ticket signed off by a clerk of the court or whatever, and pay the fine.
Then get back ot your life.
Fix-it tickets are CHEAP.

it's not that, it's the chance of them asking me to pop open my hood. i've never gotten a fix-it ticket.

hence why i said a clerk of the court. Just find someone who can sign the ticket off, but who won't care about your motor. Besides, a cop should have probable cause to search your car. I don't consider you voluntarily asking for their assistance to be probable cause.

i doubt they would ask.
Usually they dont really give a crap, just come outside and look, and sign on the ticket.
If you park so they can see from their desk, they might not even get up.

dont fight it. just mount it in the center of the bumper for a while and get your ticket signed off. not worth fighting and then getting ur hood popped for no reason

If you don't give them a reason to ask to pop your hood then its fine, otherwise they could ask.

It would be the same thing if you called 911 for a fire in your house or something, and a cop investigating sees evidence of a meth lab. He's gonna look.

Goto the DMV or the court clerk or sometimes the city office has a clerk that can sign things off for you.

but, they couldnt do anything at the time, they would have to come back with a warrant or whatever, otherwies it would be illiegal search and seizure and you would get away with it :)

since u car looks so stockity stock, put bad offset stockish wheels back on. take alot of dirt throw it all over your car. then take some dirt and grease and smear it on the valve cover so they can't read the writing. wewt!

Since you clearly don't know that much about the law, you might not want to chime in with inaccurate knowledge.
