Hey guys, i need to to know what you guys think i should do about my S13<img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt='???'> I have a 1989 240sx, SOHC KA24E with about 142000 miles on it, nasty timing chain rattle, leaking injectors, And a few other minor problems. Anyway, i have got a little bit of money together, and i need to know what i should do? Ive got about $2500 &nbsp;to work with right now, and getting more as we speak. Anyway, should i: A) Fix the Engine ive got &nbsp;, B) Swap in a newer KA24DE , or possibly C) The elusive SR20DET swap?? &nbsp;I really dont want to get rid of the 240, but right now it's almost more trouble than its worth. So any help, or opinions/ suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I think you should swap in a KA24DE, put some pistons, rings, and rods in as well as maybe new cams and a valve job in addition to a port and polish, lower the compression, slap a turbo kit on it, and voila!

S13Girl you make that sound so nice!! Sounds like the hot set up to me! You wanna help me try and find a nice KA24DE around &nbsp;here?(St. Louis/Illinois area) You think i would be able to get a lot of that done for like $3000??

lol. you ask this every month. well something like this.
if you're thinking of an SR, you should go to KC in april. there are going to be 3 or more people with SR's and you can check them out and see how they do. louis has done a SOHC to DOHC swap on his car, you can check that out too.
