Is it possible to have oil accumilate in the intercooler? I overheard some intructors talking about it.. btw they were laughing as they talked....

Yea. If your turbo's oil seals are blown.

can be cleaned w brake cleaner I think, but yah its bad if its in there, thats the prob im having right now. among other things. its only gone to the Hot pope though, and it could be just from old stuff cause this oil is all grimy and black while my engine oil is still amber.

2 ways you can get oil into your intercooler from an SR. One: blown turbo and leaking oil into the charge side. Two: Lots of blowby from the valve cover that goes to that hose into your stock intake pipe. If you need to clean out your IC...id suggest paint thinner and flush it out after taking it off.
