actually white smoke means collant/or water.... black smoke is running rich... and IIRC, blue smoke is oil... did you get your motor rebuilt or tested before your turbo setup? could be headgasket prob... or your on your way to blowing your motor... have a shop, if you cant do it yourself, do a compression test.... that would narrow down your problem a good amount...

be sure you alternator is working right... and make some nice ground with big gauge wire from the head to the body and the intake manifold to the battery holder ground...

I was having massive stumbling, backfiring and white smoke at idle... the car was not driveable at all.. my alternator was shoot and my engine ground were so weak... I rebuilted my alternator and did the 2 ground and my car need much better than before...

check your mass air flow, mine was doing the same thing, when i tryed to run a blow threw mass air. I switched to pull threw, and it ran normal. My car was also smoking out ALOT! of white smoke with a little bit of blue to it. This was caused by a bad turbo. The oil was leaking past the seal. It would not smoke for the first cupple minutes, untill the turbo got hot
