View Full Version : Reaching out to anyone who runs 17x9.5 MB Battles on S13

Hey,
Ive been doing good amount of searching through this forum and Google, I really like how 17x9.5 +15 MB battles with 235/40 17 look but Id like to hear people who have them right now to chime in. It will be on a s13 coupe.
My car is currently rolled in the front fender. My main question is will it fit flush without pulling the front fender, with about 3 degrees of camber? I think my front coilover maxes out at 3.5 degrees if I need them to. I really dont want to pull the fronts since it has fresh paint. Ive seen posts about people needing to pull aggressively to make them fit and some look nearly stock so it has been hard to gauge.
The car is a daily driver, with maybe a few track events in the summer. So hoping this setup is street-able.
Any input would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

on stock ride height maybe.
OP: The fenders will at a minimum need to be rolled depending on your ride height.

Yeah thats a stretch to say they dont need a roll. My fronts are rolled already, not super flat but pretty close. Im thinking I should be fine, but wanted to double check. Thanks guys.

There's no way you're a 18x9.5 +5 and fitting that with more space for fitment
What are the offsets of those wheels and what size spacer are you running?

its a typo. +15 is the only offset they come in with that size.

They’re18x9.5 +30 with a 25mm spacer. Aka +5. And my rear are +12 and my buddy has +22. Don’t say shit unless you know what you’re saying

Obviously running a stretched tire is helping, even if it's minimal.
That fender looks beat out. Doesn't look flush to the car from this angle.
Got any different pictures?

I was asking about 17x9.5 +15 specifically, as the title says.

I assumed you read my title. 17.... not 18. 17x9.5 only come in +15.
Jesus Christ. Lol.

I guess I'll be that cunt:
This isn't in the right section.
There's a whole thread dedicated to fitment.
I find it hard to believe you can't Google this fucking sizing and fitment.

I figured someone would bring it up.
I found 5 posts saying it fit stock. and 3 more that said they needed to "pull it with a baseball bat" or something of that nature. 75% of the images on fitment threads are down because no one knows what imgur is. Ive also checked rimtuck and again its a hit or miss. My goal was to find someone running that exact setup and try and figure it out with them personally instead of reading all these conflicting threads.
Lock the thread, I found the info I needed.

There's a thread specifically for fitment. Looking through the Chat section would've told you that but you posted in the first spot you found. Not even in Tech Talk, which could've made more sense. So yeah, someone should've brought it up.

Here’s my old setup with a 215/40, 3* of camber and. 7mm spacer. The fenders were rolled a whole bunch and I’d assume they were pulled about 5mm but I never compared them to stock so I don’t know for sure.
FYI you can pull front fenders a decent amount without them looking pulled like with the quarterpanels.

*Sigh* In addition to our numerous fitment threads, Rimtuck has also covered this exhaustively.
