Just weld it back on there, it'll be a lot stronger than what was holding it. You can't see any bolts, cause they're on the other side of the firewall. :bite:

If you want to pay less, of course, you can just buy that bracket at Nissan. I bought the bracket but it also comes with the rod. There is a nut right behind the bracket. Its a lock nut so I'm guessing you thought it was attatched to the bracket. Loosen that nut and take off the pins attatched to the bracket and turn bracket to take off because its also threaded. You should unbolt the master cylinder too to give you more slack to take off and put on the bracket. I didn't and it made it very difficult. Good luck.

ARRRGGGH!!!...I hate that stupid clip!!! It's made of some stupid soft metal that easily breaks!!! DON"T ask me HOW I know this!!!..hahaha...

Anyhow, best bet is see if you can go down to a junkyard OR a foreign auto repair shop that fixes clutches or transmissions. They might have one lying around that they'll give you for free or sell you for a small fee.

When I broke mine, I went to a local junkyard & found a replacement. I was able to get it off a S13...worked fine on my S14.

Anyhow, hope this helps.

Ok. This is actually a common problem among clutch pedal brackets on 300zx and 240sx. All you have to do is reweld it, I often gusset it with a l bracket from piece to piece. To remove it. Just unbolt the 2 12mm in the engine bay that hold the clutch master cyl. on then pull the pin on the clutch pedal linkage. Hope this helps.

Ohh and never buy a new clutch pedal. Its called planed obsolesence. Thats what they want us to do. :wiggle:
