So I am up-sizing to a HX35 this winter. However I have a terrible clearance issue with the brake master cylinder.

Does anyone know of a t3 top mount manifold that moves the turbo towards the front of the car. So I can fabricate a downpipe that wont cook my brakes?

Any help is greatly appreciated!!!!

I have a JGS log that clears great, but they're discontinued, so unless you find one used... no help there.

But Treadstone makes a cast manifold (that's not the typical revhard style.) It looks like it'll clear well, as long as you can clock the compressor. $350

Other than that DOC or Xcessive make nice but expensive tubular manifolds.

Friend of mine built my manifold. He's got it back and making a jig. If this interests you I can give you his contact info if you PM me. BTW, my turbo is a GTX3076R. I don't see why yours wouldn't fit.

Its mainly the size/orientation of how the hotside terminates. I sent you a PM

There is also a "slim" version on the newer 240's that would increase the distance from your downpipe form you brake setup. It's on the second gens and it bolts right up to the first gens

the RHD master cylinders have the brake pipes coming out the other side.

convert to RHD...

Anything to avoid an engine bay fire. Remember that air has less heat transfer than metal; Wrap the downpipe, add a turbo blanket, then run two shields, with air between them.

I've seen too many of these cars burnt to the ground

Listen I've been through this with a KA-t and about 10 different manifolds.

Here's multiple solutions I've used and encountered;

RHD master cylinder. (My first KA-t used one, the lines can be gently moved to the other side)

CXracing manifold. (My last setup used a CXracing manifold/downpipe etc. this will move the turbo further forward. )

If you'd like pictures of either just let me know. Unfortunately I already sold my RHD cylinder on ebay. IF you'd like to go Z32 brakes, you'll need to get the CXracing manifold.

Or be like everyone else and don't run top mount

So you're only going to offer the manifold? Not the RHD master setup you're also using?

Its actually not a RHD master, Its a pathfinder master.

Yep, pathfinder brake master has the fittings on the other side same as a rhd master. That's what I used for clearance with my mid mount greddy manifold, as well as a smaller brake booster.

What year pathfinder works? I'm assuming whichever one's had a ka but how about for a single cam.

It appears mid 90's works. It's a 1"

Funny enough a guy I used to know made the comment on another forum.

Thank you. And what a coincidence with your friend!

I think a brake booster delete kit might help move the lines over a little bit. Chase bays makes one for 200 bucks. Might be worth checking out.

I would love some more information about which booster and master cylinder You guys are using. Anyone know for sure what pathfinder master works?

If I could move the whole system back about an inch I think things will work.

I've heard from numerous friends that the chase bays booster delete feels like garbage, unfortunately.

If I remember later i'll try to give you the part number off my master.
