Quick question I want to bypass my factory amps on my 95 240sx. I know that i need to splice wires together and I know which ones, the one thing that I do not know is if i splice the wires connected to the amp together, or splice the wires that go to the amp together?

I would just cut the amp out. The wires going into it are from the CD/Deck. The wires coming out of it are going to the speakers. Cut both wires on the sides of the amp, fuse the wires that are going into the amp, together with the ones that are going out.

Why would you splice anything together coming out of the amp? You realize that would give you two sets of dead leads, right?

240silvia is right, its best to cut the amp out when using an aftermarket deck. so you just connect the wires that go into the amp directly to the ones that go to the speakers and the power all comes from your headunit and sounds better. the factory amps are junk. if you need me to i can look at which ones i connected to which and tell you, but i don't have time till tomorrow to do it
