Hey guys I’m in the process of building a rb20 for my s13 and I’ve got a few things piled up already, I just need help with on what else I would need to get to complete it. Thanks advance! The power output I was hoping to get is between 350 to 450 whp. And if I can make more with what I have so far that would be great. What trans would be best to go with? Which turbo? Which Big brake setup? Rear end? And to lay that power to the ground I have 18x10.5 for the rear and 18x9.5 in the front wheels. This is a car that I will hopefully complete for street use once in a while not as much a daily. And I will be sending the block and head to a machine shop to have that all re done.
Parts I have...
-T4 Top mount manifold (unknown brand)
-Tomei Exhaust
-Haltech Ecu
-Cp forged pistons 80mm 8.5:1 ratio
-Spool H beam connecting rods
-ACL +0.025mm Race bearings
-Nitto Extended Crank Collar
-N1 Oil Pump
-Tomei Exhaust and Intake cam gears
-Kelford 272/278 cams with 10mm lift
-SuperTech Valve spring set
-SuperTech +1mm intake and exhaust valves
-Aeromotive FPR
-Arp headstud and main studs
-z32 fuel filter
-Idx 1050cc injectors
-Garret Boost gauge
-Walbro 400lph fuel pump(e85)
-Mishimoto Oil cooler
-Cx racing fmic

If u get a 61mm or bigger turbo you might have lag like I did. The sweet spot on my yestertech precision SC61 was about 5500. That's when things got real, I only reved out to 8000 rpm on mine. I had tomei 270 pon cams. Peak power was at 8000 so I could have reved it out a little more.https://flic.kr/p/Vf7c6b.

^ sounds like the right move. I cant recommend any turbos offhand but:
you'll need to calculate your engines airflow, and then compare that to a couple compressor maps to see what turbos will work for you.

Thanks for the info man, I’ll check it out. If I were to get a smaller turbo to spool quicker would that sacrifice the power put out? Or does it all still depend on a certain turbo?

Probably not the newer turbo's out now would do the job better. Cost more lol but they can do the job better than what I was working with.
