So why do I have a brand new long block vq35 from Nissan with 0 miles you may ask? Well I first bought this long block couple years back from a my350z socal member. He had it for sale as a VQ35DE for a 03 350z and that it was a brand new long block from Nissan he had purchased for his 350z to replace his original VQ that had oil consumption issue. The engine was on a pallet with a Nissan plastic bag over it so before I purchased it I just looked at the timing belt and, everything looked identical to mine so I bought it. I have all the paper work from the transaction btw. Now that I need to install it I find out that it is meant for a 2001-03 pathfinder. I searched the number codes on the Nissan label it came with. It has a rear sump oil pan and oil filter location is towards the bottom front. This is a long block!! This is perfect for someone with a pathfinder and want to make it new again. Or someone doing a swap of some kind. Any questions just ask. The engine has been in storage in my garage this whole time. I need to sell it to rebuild the vq in my car.
